There are also the beaches of Molyvos and Eftalou. The village of Plomari is located on the southern part of the island, and it is famous for its Ouzo, its traditional appetizers and its warm people.
Don't forget that Lesvos is the capital of Ouzo. Therefore, you will find many local varieties of Ouzo that you cannot find even in Athens. You should definitely visit the Barbayanni Ouzo Museum and the Folk Art Museum of Plomari.
